To combat thiefs prying into the door under the handle to get at the lock rods inside the door, Jimmi Jammer created a Rear In-Door Lock protection kit.
On rear doors of a four door truck, the plates are still necessary. The lock rods inside the doors still are accessible by a thief who knows how to get at them. Installing the rear plates will help prevent access to the latch and rods inside the door.
